Methods Summary

The goal of these methods are to help teams effectively design conversations, determining the goals and purpose of a conversation, crafting what is said and when it is said. Improv is an explorative method intended to help teams collaboratively explore possible goals and purpose through role-playing conversations. Bot Personas help teams quickly and iteratively develop a rich and complex personality for their chatbot by building empathy with the chatbot and each other. Dialogue Mapping intends to help teams transition from persona to development by providing a framework to structure conversations and detailing the dialogue along each path. These methods are intended to be flexible enough to help teams resolve a large portion of possible conversations that teams may want to have, while also structured to provide direction and focus for a process that few have experience with. If teams are able to creative effective conversations with a human-centric and collaborative process, they may be better able to create more trustworthy experience for their users.
